Position Overview: MVHS Inc. is seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment in Utica, New York. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment with a focus on trauma and neuro cases, among other surgical specialties. The position is ideal for experienced OR nurses with at least 2 years of expertise and relevant travel experience.

Job Details

• Shift Type: Day, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 04/14/2025
• End Date: 07/13/2025
• On-Call: Yes, required every weekend
• Floating: Yes
• Contract Type:
• Daily OT after 24 hours (based on multiplier)
• Weekly OT after 48 hours (based on multiplier)
  

Unit Details

• Beds: 14 total (10 OR, 2 Robotics).
• Common Patient Diagnoses: ENT, orthopedics, urology, general surgery, neuro, podiatry, plastics, trauma.
• EMR System: EPIC.
• Scrubs Provided.
  
  

Submission Requirements

• Must-haves:
• Current resume detailing 2+ years of OR RN experience, including travel assignments.
• Active New York RN license at the time of submission.
• Trauma and neuro experience required.
• Current BLS certification.
• NURSYS Report with active RN license verifications.
• 2 recent OR Charge/Manager RN references.
• Skills checklist matching specialty.
• Driver’s license matching demographic details.
• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at the time of submission.
• Preferred:
• PALS certification.
